A typical family outing! 

This seems a long time ago now, but was only back in October. 

We were weighing the shearling ewes before the rams went out, the idea being to calculate weight of lambs reared/mothers weight pre-tupping (mating). A kind of efficiency ratio if you like. The weights were submitted to a large database for analysis so we can work out which sheep within the flock are the most productive and then keep their daughters to breed from in future.
